This Scheffer thermal vapor recompression evaporator is a 6-stage TVR evaporator with a closed condenser and a capacity of approximately 25 m³/h (24–26), with a water evaporation rate of approximately 17.5 m³/h. The evaporator is equipped with a thermocompressor from the 3rd to the 1st stage and has a steam consumption ratio of 0.18 (including pasteurizer). It is also fitted with several holding tubes (hot holders), along with two coupling panels to enable different combinations in terms of residence time. Years of operation: mid-1990s to 2021.
