This Scheffers thermal vapor recompression evaporator is a 7-stage TVR evaporator with a closed condenser. It has a capacity of approximately 50–65 m³/h (51–63), with a water evaporation rate ranging from 30–35 m³/h. The evaporator is equipped with a thermocompressor from the 3rd to the 1st stage and has a steam consumption ratio of 0.12 (including pasteurizer). It is also fitted with two holding tubes (hot holders): 60 and 120 seconds. In 2014, the evaporator underwent an upgrade in the area of CIP, during which it was equipped with various nozzles.
